Tricked out gear, over skill based PvP is something most PvP of old school do look for. Farming should never be a part of PvP that should be saved for the PvE'ers.

You have to remember Hades that alot of the people who are playing wow it is their first taste at an MMO. Those people will all branch off sooner or later when WoW fades (might take awhile) but when those people who really enjoy skill based over item based (I am leaning towards Aoc) they might like the taste.

Again you prove what a pseudo-intellectual you are. This isn't meant to screw over PvP'ers. It's meant to make the reward the GOOD PvP'ers get actually mean something. Any drooler can put together an epic PvP set by BG'ing, getting scrub welfare points, and buying PR long enough to buy the items they need. Now you actually have to be good.

BTW Arena's and BG's aren't real PvP anyways.

Kara is "welfare epics". Regardless of how well you PvP, it will take alot longer to get geared out in BG's then it will by tagging along with guilds farming Kara.

These changes seem to be targeted at the Arena points buyer/sellers, not at the casual player.

it may no have been thre best idea but you have to look at it from there position. they had to many people blow bawls at pvp but just played non stop and they figured that you shoudl have to have the skill to get the gear so they add something to do that. its not there fault that there are people who take this game to seriously and farm the points.
