Capture the flag. BEAUTIFUL landscape. Essentially a giant asteroid with two planets orbiting in the background. Two huge towers on either side and nothing but running space in between.
So of course, I take the first portal I can find to the top of the tower, grab my sniper rifle...and wait.
It was my first FPS PvP experience against non-AI and it was sooo much different. But as unpredictable and cunning as human players can be, there just wasn't enough cover.
Whenever anyone asks me: "Best FPS experience?"
All I can hear is: *BOOM* (headshot) ::chick-clack:: *BOOM* (headshot) ::chick-clack:: *BOOM*

I was always fond of Unreal, and I'd say Unreal Tournament was pretty much Quake 3 Arena done right.

The best Unreal wasn't the 1st one. Wasn't Return to NaPali. It was UT 2003, I believe. NOT UT2 nor 2006.

Always fun to double jump off walls and the speed of the game made it very twitch based. One of the better Unreal Tournament games to come out.

this is pure unadulterated fun. they did so much right in DM and the mods and models only made it better
Still play this time to time with some friends its a great way to have some banter and a few beers.
Great weapons, great maps. A lot of fun was had here.
