Ok, here it is... your weekly recap of gaming: If Alestra plays 2 days every week, I guess I can call this a good deal. Many Xboxes have it a lot worse. Our gamerscore saw a 25 point boost which is good.

And that is the news for now... Check back next week... same bat time, same bat channel...

Alestra brought the pain yesterday... the good kind... the gaming kind. We are up to 16,620 points of gamerscore. Jealous? That is a gain of 25 points over last time! She opened up Rock Band, and then I needed a nap. Don't judge me! It's a lot of work pushing all those pixels.

Oh hey, remember the challenge that Alestra was in? It has come to an end. We may have earned an 'A' for effort in this challenge, but they don't give out very many points for effort, some... but not many... you gotta win... maybe next time! But, there is always next time I guess... A special thanks to the other 4 people in the competion. Good times.

A. I find it cheap and unrewarding. A classic move by newbs and gamers who can't hack it on their own.

A. The day I hit level 60 in EQ. It was after 72 hour stretch and then another 34 hours. I still have the screen shot!. =D

A. After a Xegony raid another guildie decided it was my fault two of his friends were server moving and he was convinced I ruined the entier game for him. I still have that screenshot as well.

A. Players that suck and show no signed of improvement but think they are all that. Also women who play the "teehee" card and get a free ride cause they are giving them.

A. Thottbot, Alakazam, Wowwiki, several gaming forums.

Q. Where did you get your gaming names from? (Answer!)
A. Alestra is a new gamer name I have started using. It's a slow derivative from my gaming history. Orignally I started with Setsuma in 1995 which was later shortened to Sets in '98 when I started UT. I carried the name until EQ. Where I had selected Cetra. Sets was taken and Cetra was the closest and nicest looking name (it had no relation to ff7 when I chose it, I actually learned that a year after I had the name) . As time grew on I moved on to Alestra in the last year. A combination of Astral and Cetra.

Q. Do you use voice chat? (Answer!)
A. Yes, but only when absolutely needed

Q. What mods do you play with? (Answer!)
A. In EQ I used a mod that reskinned the UI to something more slimline and clean lines. In WoW I tend to only use damage monitors.

A. I am rather indifferent. It's whatever you feel like being!

A. I would have to say that some are. Some people like to connect to others on a purely mental level. The physical just become bonus after that.
