Q. What experience do you have beta-testing games? (Answer!)
A. I have beta tested for a few games both RPG based and text based. I love the thrill of seeing the new things for the first time, as well as knowing that I may have helped fix or change something from the bug reports that I filed.
Q. What are your favorite tabletop (RPG, board, miniatures, etc.) games? (Answer!)
A. Friends of ours made a table top game based on Conan, that has always been my favorite. Might have had something to do with it being my first also :)
Q. Do you feel relationships within games are meaningful? (Answer!)
A. Alot of my friends are within the gaming comminity. When I became disabled 4 years ago alot of my friends near me just sorta slipped away not sure how to act around me. The players in the gaming community welcomed me and have come to be like a second family to me. If it wasn't for a group of them I don't think my wedding would have been half as fun as it was :)
Q. When you are not playing games, what do you do for fun? (Answer!)
A. One of the biggest things I enjoy is going to amusement parks with my family. That and it get's the hubby and son away from the games for a while.
Q. How do you feel about playing characters of the opposite sex? (Answer!)
A. I tend to play female's only, something about getting totally confused if the person is male or female so I try to stay with females, less confusing that way :)
Q. Where did you get your gaming names from? (Answer!)
A. Most of my gaming names are based off of my first few D&D characters. Some others have come from the movie Conan the Barbarian.
Q. How many hours a week do you play? (Answer!)

A. My first Video gaming memory was an Atari 2600 I had growing up. As for computer gaming is when my now husband set me up playing DAoC.
Q. If you could meet any game developer, who would it be? (Answer!)
A. I would have to say the crew from Mythic again, they were awsome in Vegas !
Q. What sort of players annoy you the most? (Answer!)
A. The one's that annoy me the most are the one's that whine for hours on end to get you to PL them, THEN just as you get a decent group to PL them they reply well I gotta go AFK and stick to your healer for the next 3 hours. These are the players that tend to get upset when we leave them in the center of a camp of REALLy nasty mobs and they come back dead.
Q. If you made your own game, what would it be like? (Answer!)
A. If I made my own game it would be a combination of alot of things. It would definatly be based in sword/shield/staff as that's the type of games I tend to enjoy the most. The biggest thing for me would be adventure based, I am nicknamed the "Quest Queen" so that would be the base of alot of my game. Quests to unlock areas etc.
Q. In real life, are you male or female? (Answer!)

A. I have been debating putting in for a team lead or something of that nature. I have been an Admin on some MMORPG's and I think that TL is my next challenge ahead of me :)
Q. When do you play, including timezone? (Answer!)
A. I play on east coast time and mostly in the early evenings.
Q. Why do you join guilds or clans? (Answer!)
A. I join guilds for the interaction, most of my guilds are filled with friends that are as close as family to me.
Q. Have you ever had a memorable real-life meeting with other gamers? (Answer!)
A. I have had 2 me and my fiancee (now husband) went to the 2006 DAoC Round table in Vegas where we got to meet a few members of both our guild and alliance as well as numerous other players from our server and other servers. We had also planned out alot of fun things while we were there so to get to know everyone. <br>The second one was our wedding in June 2007, we invited many members of our guild/alliance to the wedding. We had players from all over the country coming. Our families thought we had lost our mind, but I have to admit it was amazing and one of the things I will remember the most about that day!
Q. What do you love or hate about PVP? (Answer!)
A. I love PvP for the fact that it gets your guild or alliance working together generally on a mission. BUT I hate PvP because I am still learning and tend to end up taking dirt naps more then battling lol.

A. I am still torn on this one

A. I think it hit mine right on :)
Q. What is the most overlooked or misunderstood game? (Answer!)
A. I think right now DAOC is the most overlooked, there's alot that could be done to improve things within the game that are getting overlooked for new content.
Q. What sort of tools (calculators, builders, spreadsheets, etc.) do you use to plan your characters? (Answer!)
A. My hubby takes care of inputting it for me, I got confused the last time and ended up with stuff in my templates I didn't want. So now I tell him what I want it to do and he print's out the list so I know what I need to buy :)
Q. What are your thoughts on roleplaying in games? (Answer!)
A. Roleplaying is actually fun, it makes it interesting to take on the persona of your character's.

A. Most of my characters have red hair and are of course female =)

A. Hmm I am not sure there's one I really hate that much

A. I just play with a Custom UI for DAoC to help with better maps and customization

A. Hmm well that can be answered a few ways, but I had a romantic encounter with the man that got me into the game does that count (It's my hubby LOL)

A. Hmm this one's a toughy, I think it would be the Patricia Cornwell Series about the Medical Examiner - would be a difernt game =)

A. I think my MOST memorable achievemts have been:
~ Knowing now I can run 40-80 people BG's without an issue
~ Slaying 100+ Dragon's on my Warrior
~ Finding a place the call HOME finally with a "family" to play with

A. If you could create a quest for your favorite game, what would it be ?

A. hrmm I think it was the time I spelled Xanicair wrong THEN linked a pic of the mob WITH the name of it (spelled correctly) in the same thread. I have yet to live it down.
Q. What are your thoughts on player-made mods/addons for games? (Answer!)
A. Depends on how they affect game play. If it is a simple UI that helps you find things a little easier and gives you a little bit of you to the fluffs of the game - fine. But if it's something that altars the way that the designers created the game, then no, that only takes away from the whole player base if one of those "Addons" goes wonky.
Q. What are the specs on your gaming rig? (Answer!)
A. Umm it's a computer that my hubby set up with everything I need so not to lag =) about all I really know.
Q. What are the proper uses of tank guns and bubblegum? (Answer!)
A. Hmm Tankguns to me belong where they have been for years, as I don't condone shooter RPG's as I was never brought up around them.
Bubblegum - if it's grape it belongs in my mouth =)
