I tried to play Dark Sector, but my daughter was running around... and from the first scene where the guy snaps the neck of another guy, I figured I couldn't really play it... so I will have to wait until I get some time alone. :)

While the kids took a nap I got a few hours in on Warhammer... made more progress in PvE... really close to the next level too... the next time I play I will get it.
It was also the GamerDNA community night for Team Fortress 2. I jumped in for a few rounds, but ultimately had to head out and pay some bills... Quicken FTW.
Eight out of ten gamers agree. You friggin rock. The real question is, who let those 2 jerks in.

Warhammer was tons of fun... and I made a ton of progress... I finished up the quests for chapter 4... and headed over to start on Chapter 5... I did a ton of quests in 5... and attained level 13. I also picked up a ton of new gear which you can check out in my latest character photo.
I also headed to the Inevitable City and did all the quests there... as well as bought out an auction for a sweet new Axe. All in all a really great solo night on Warhammer... My Marauder is finally starting to look awesome.
There are far too many "super weapons" that deal out random and semi-unpredictable damage to your resources. It isn't enough they give you way too few unit against the enemy but also throw in all these auto lasers, infinite enemy producers, and random grenade launchers that deal out 50% damage to anything coming out of your factory. I mean seriously? WTF?
In the end, it made me throw down Dual Strike in disgust. It just isn't fun to play when the external elements are what holds you back... and you feel like you have no control over the onslaught of random damage being dealt on your from an untouchable place.
Sure, I could power through... figure out a strategy... but it just isn't fun... so for now... I'm leaving it... one mission away from completion.
I liked that move you made last night. Against that thing. It was killer.

It has been quite a while since I turned on the Xbox. I had 32 live messages! :) I haven't picked up Rock Band 2 yet because of all the Warhammer Online I have been playing. But we did play some Rock Band 2 at work the other night so it made me want to jam a bit. So it was a good time... and Hannah and Lucy like it too... so it still remains an activity for the whole family!
