A. "There have been some pretty hefty ones on the WoW rogue forums...but I'm usually the observer type as far as that goes.

Most of the drama on my server dried up when TBC came out and the powerhouse guilds of old fragmented in the 40-10-25 transition...

A. "I say let people play what they want to play. That's the glory of variety. If a game I hate is cancelled, the likelihood of more asshats in my game world is increased. No thanks, we have plenty without looking for trouble."

A. "1. D&D - Although, I haven't played since my 3.0 group stopped playing. Never upgraded to 3.5, but I miss it. I hope I get back there someday.

2. Killer Bunnies - This is an awesomely fun card game. Especially for 4-6 drinking adults.

3. SceneIt - I know, I know...I'm a sucker for Disney SceneIt though. It doesn't mean my rogues/thieves in any game couldn't still stab you though."

A. "I used to play D&D so there were a couple memorable moments there. Especially one trip to gen con our group took. Hubby and I play together, but we met working at a bookstore in college."

Just started using lootables.com for finishing off the grind on LW points. I used shadowpanther.net to build my pre-Kara PvE gear. And I use excel spreadsheets for tracking guild organizational stuff for raiding such as attuned raiders, loot/gear needs, group makeup, raid consumables, etc.

I also have a personal one that lists my current gear, what upgrades I'm working toward and the enchants/enchant mats I'll need for it."

A. "Not many. Most of them are raid related. I don't like bogging my system down with crap.

A. "No, but I've been in a relationship/married for a long damn time. Friendships yes, and we've met up with game mates before. I'm a one man woman though. Trust me, no one else would put up with me like he does."

Thrill of the battle/moment...knowing you're competing against another living, reacting person rather than AI...

2. Busting my butt in PvP before the patch that took away ranks so my lifetime rank would be decent. Kept Knight-Lieutenant. I did NOT want to wear a Private tag for the rest of my characters WoW existence.
3. Hitting 70th level. Killing a boar in SMV.
4. Deciding to join The Forgotten. Learning to be a raider instead of a pvper. Leading my first raid. Learning to trust a team of toons."

But I usually play PvE or PvP....my experiences with the WoW community don't make me warm to their roleplaying abilities."

A. "Because I think the social aspect is the most important part of PC gaming. If I wanted to solo quest and collect pixels, I could just get a console and solo play. I'm not saying you can't have fun going off on your own once in a while, but a group of people that you enjoy chatting and gaming with is what makes it worth so much time."

A. "I'm not sure I could function without my laptop anymore....and I really love my 42in plasma....it's fun to do a bg on that thing."

A. "Depends on the context. My husband and I play together so it's not like I'm out there testing out the cyber scene.

Yes, there is such a thing as meaningful "in game" realationships, friendships, etc.

MMO's are a time sink. You spend a lot of time with the people in you guild. Especially true in raiding guilds. That raid team is a brotherhood in game. You're counting on the dude next to you to know his job and vice versa.

So yeah I'd say I have friendships with members of my guild. They know my RL name. I know theirs. 3 years in WoW and other than our next door neighbor that we forced to play the hubby and I haven't had any face to faces with game buds. We don't need to."

A. "I do not agree with it. However, I think the current setup of some games enables it to flourish..."

A. "Not really no. Although I'd love to get out of accounting. Gaming's my hobby. Working sucks."

A. "The ones who have problems with everyone for one thing or another. Yeah some people annoy me. Yeah kids who are too young can be irritating. But if I wanted to play alone, I wouldn't be playing an MMO."

First game I played regularly? Star Trek on the Tandy 1000...yep been a nerd a long time. I actually kept notebooks of the planets I'd explored. Wow."

A. "I generally play female characters even as a girl. You can usually tell that more time went into how they look. The male counterparts are generally oafish."

Shadowbunny - My main in WoW. My first toon I named Atrena after a favorite D&D character I created. She was a mage and I didn't really care for her. My husband created a little pink-haired gnome warlock and named it Bunnylove, after a porn star. Yeah classy, right? Anyway, I decided to roll a gnome rogue to run with him since I hated the mage. Yes, I'm lame, and I'm one of a million rogues that used Shadow, Dark, or Ninja in their name. So we became The Bunnys. Gnomes wreaking havoc on Windrunner and having a blast.

New gamertag on recently renewed Xbox Live subscription is TwistedYeti. No idea where that came from. Although I was reminded why I no longer really enjoy Halo, and it makes me fearful of in game voice chat with PuGs."

A. "Generally 8pm-12am EST during the week. Saturday afternoon/evening if no plans. And Sunday afternoon/evening if no plans."

	Anyone leading a guild, or playing Horde still on Windrunner definitely earns my respect. Not easy on that server. Hats off to you!
