What can I say? I love video games. WoW has been my current favorite for some time, tho I am starting to really crave something new. I have been hoping that maybe Ages of Conan will fill that spot. Wow has just become such a long boring grind since BC came out.

I may be a glutton for punishment but I actually enjoy the healing/support role that being a resto druid is. This thing seems to have an annoying tendency to pull my profile info when I have logged out in my balance gear.

Q. What are your thoughts on player-made mods/addons for games? (Answer!)
A. They make the life of a healer so much easier in WoW. How did we ever play games before the era of moddable interfaces?

Q. Do you feel relationships within games are meaningful? (Answer!)
A. Depends. Occassionally, you meet certain ppl among the masses in a typical online game that really stand out for whatever reason. Some relationships have only meaning within the game. Others become more personal. Yet, it's a great feeling to log into aa game after a longish break and have ppl sending you tells, wanting to know how you've been, etc.

Q. What experience do you have beta-testing games? (Answer!)
A. Neocron, Sociolotron, a few korean mmo's.

Q. Ninjas or pirates? (Answer!)
A. Ninja

Q. Have you ever had a romantic encounter with someone you met in a game? (Answer!)
A. Not face to face tho I have had several extended online relationships via games over the years. IMO relationships that develop online take alot longer to develop than face to face relationships as you are constantly battling the anonymity that a text only environment can offer.

Q. What mods do you play with? (Answer!)
A. Clique, xperl, swstats, chronometer, bagnon, KTM, titan bar or fubar depending if I am on someone else's machine or my own (I prefer ace2 mods whenever possible), auctioneer, gatherer, cartographer, bongos action bars, deadly boss mods, sct and sctd, geist, atlas, atlas loot, itemrack

Q. If you could cancel any online game, which would it be? (Answer!)
A. Neocron, then give the intellectual rights to a big name company like blizzard so they could iron out the bugs and make game really shine

Q. What is your first computer or video gaming memory? (Answer!)
A. Errm writing a D & D dice simulation program on an Atari 400 with a membrane keyboard because my cousin lost his D & D dice and my mom always stole mine being convinced they were tools of the devil. Program written, we proceeded to Pen and Paper the night away. First video gaming memory was beating Ultima IV on my Commodore 64. First online computing memory was the first time I was ganked in Ultima Online waaay back in the day.

Q. What are your thoughts on roleplaying in games? (Answer!)
A. If it's a game meant to contain a roleplaying environment, then players should be expected to stay in character outside of private tells. In a more simulation like environment like Wow, meh, whatever floats your boat.

Q. What music do you like to play games to? (Answer!)
A. Trance Techno...especially when I pvp

Q. What is the most overlooked or misunderstood game? (Answer!)
A. Alternate Reality. That game was the freakin bomb for its time. Written all in assembly and it had guilds and day/night cycles, weather and more. Actions actually meant something in the game. And the city and dungeon were both huge. Too bad itsa rights are all tied up in lawyerisms. It would really make an awesome MMO.

Q. How many hours a week do you play? (Answer!)
A. 20-40

Q. What sort of tools (calculators, builders, spreadsheets, etc.) do you use to plan your characters? (Answer!)
A. Just the Wow talent calculator for WoW.

Q. What are the proper uses of tank guns and bubblegum? (Answer!)
A. Sticking carebears to a wall and blowing em to smithereens

Q. When you are not playing games, what do you do for fun? (Answer!)
A. Err..I attempt to socialize lol

Q. Are you interested in working within the game industry? (Answer!)
A. Yup. Being any part of designing games would be what I consider a dream job.

A. Pretty right on.

Q. Why do you join guilds or clans? (Answer!)
A. Generally to achieve things in a game that I cannot achieve alone. For the most part in WoW I avoid leveling guilds as there is not much that I cannot handle in the whole leveling grind. I can gear myself, I can level myself and I can level my skills, preferably fast enough to make money off of them as soon as possible.
