Message Of The Day from QforQ
-- "12-2-08 Update complete"
Tonight's update is now complete and we're patching some holes. Thank you for your patience! Patch notes will hit the blog in the next day or so.
In the latest Darkfall developer journal, we get a status update from Associate Producer Tasos Flambouras and he promises to chime in with a community driven Q&A style developer journal next time.
A 21 year old Dutch hacker managed to hack onto the Aventurine servers and secure himself an early version of the much anticipated MMO Darkfall Online. According to Dutch media he hacked his way into secured email boxes and found himself a username and password which allowed him to gain acces to Aventurine servers... And download an early version of the game. Furthermore he posted his banner on the website promoting his gold farm. The hacker was identified by Dutch authorities and taken into custody. From the confiscated material there was no evidence that he had distributed this version on the internet.
According to Aventurine this will not interfere with the progress of the game and will not cause any delay.
Hey, at least now we know the game actually exists...
Just recently the LoD member Asp visited the Aventurine crew in Greece.
Here is his article containing info about him, the game itself and his experience while playing the game.
Enjoy
MMORPG.com is pleased to present this video from Dungeon Runners, NCsoft's free-to-play MMORPG. ... me, I know nothing about this game ... aside from it' free to play but you have to pay for extended content (higher level item use, etc.)
Found this image along my travels and well Darkfall is advertising so it has to be a good sign that it is not on any conditions vaporware. What do you guys think?
in this post on darkfalls website a "blue" posts some interesting responses to questions about the mechanics involved in this game.
