-- "Compare & Contrast"
This week, Sanya posts some information comparing the launches of some big MMOs and even exposes some valuable details behind the gamers that play them.
Nothing new all things considered ... EQ, AO, WoW, every MMO launched has had cuts to their originally stated launch package. The fact is that in the end it's a RvR game and with cutting these 4 classes they've gone from 14 melee/10 ranged to 10 melee/10 ranged.
24 classes at launch was definately overly ambitious, I mean hell people questioned it when V:SoH was planning, what 16 or 17 (of which 2 got cut)....
How is that supposed to work? Esp. for the casuals / noobs / not guild-organized players who don't have a tank for PQs in their (starting) areas? Or for RvR when the paper-stone-scissors system (RDPS beats Tanks, Tanks beat MDPS, MDPS beats RDPS) is torn into pieces?
