You're right about WoW in space. I see it as WoW meets Total Recall..
I'm enjoying how it rewards explorers. It's like you seek out exploration badges, but instead of a badge you get a logos that enables one aspect of your powerset. Wicked.
On the other hand, all they have to do is add instanced PvP like WoW did, and it would make Logos into a pointless grind, just like WoW. But it's ncsoft, right? Surely they're not that stupid. Right?
Scared now.

I disagree about the lack of incentives. I can see where advanced missions will require large teams, where a well balanced team would make it much easier.
I don't think there is a lack of incentives to group, so much as the presence of the option to play solo. That's a good thing.
I'm enjoying the hell out of it, or I would be if I wasn't waiting for heat sink epoxy to dry on my video card.

Sensational
Savant, but with a star!
Personally, it feelt like WoW in space. Had they just added some sort of skill based aiming rather then auto lock then that could've changed the entire game. I only got to level 10 though, but I couldn't stand playing anymore then that.
So to summarize that in one simple line:
I was not impressed.

oh, I don't mean the controls of your character, I mean controlling enemies / NPCs / monsters. you cannot really actively control that a monster hits / attacks a certain player. well at least that's my general impression of it.
