Most of the standard gaming motherboards supports minimum of 4 RAM DIMM ports and some have more and some have less. All these motherboards are compatible with DDR4 RAM. Audio ports: For connecting speakers and headphones these ports are provided.

Thunderbolt 3: Very few motherboards offer this port. It is the fastest USB type C connector port offering speed of 40 Gb/s. This is the most versatile port offered in any motherboard.

DVI-D, HDMI, and Display Port: These ports are given video output for those who use integrated graphics.

Additional Features: Some additional features that you may look for in your motherboard are over-clocking generator button, CMOS clear buttons, RGB lighting LEDS and LED diagnostic readouts.
